My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The room was on the second floor and had a great view over the bay, complete with a lovely balcony. I had a great stay at the hotel with some highlights and a few drawbacks. The rooms now have very effective air conditioning, which was a lifesaver in the July heat, but the blocked views of trees made it not worth paying extra for those. The powerful shower was a definite plus, and the overall room was comfortable with a good bathroom and plenty of outlets.

I stayed in the apartments at Barbara due to the hotel being relocated because of a flood right before my arrival. Despite being on the first floor, the room was spacious, modern, clean, and very comfortable. The service was marvelous, especially the head waiter who oversaw everything with wonderfully good grace. The location in Plat was fabulous for exploring nearby destinations like Dubrovnik, Cavtat, and the Elaphite islands, even though transportation after 6 pm required taxis. The dining experience had a variety of options but was a bit lacking in clarity and flexibility. Overall, the experience was pleasant and memorable.
